Only one tiny issue. When my battery is at either 57% or sometimes 52% the widget shows 1% difference. The widget shows 1% less than what the system shows in notifiction bar. An obvious choice is Apple's Airpods. If you pair and connect them to your iPhone, swipe right to the widgets' panel, and tap edit, you will see Batteries appear in the list. Other Bluetooth devices can work too but there's no conclusive list of devices that, when connected, will make the battery widget appear.
If your iPhone is running on iOS 14, you've probably already noticed a default battery widget in your Today View. While some users like it, others prefer a larger widget that also shows the exact battery percentages. The great news is that you can customize your battery widget.
Bluetooth devices that are advertised specifically for the iPhone or iPad are the ones most likely to force show the batteries widget. Other devices that aren't advertised as such will connect with an Apple device but it's far less likely that they will force the widget to show.
For iOS 13 and earlier, you may not see the Batteries widget when you follow the steps to add it. This may come as a shock. But there is nothing to worry about. All you need to do is pair AirPods, Apple Watch, Beats headphones, or any other such ( Widget API supported; most ones are) Bluetooth devices to the iPhone or iPad.
