Inverter Efficiency: Inverter efficiency measures how effectively the inverter converts direct current (DC) from the battery into alternating current (AC) for household or industrial use. Most inverters operate between 80% and 95% efficiency. Higher efficiency allows for the use of a larger inverter without drawing excessive energy from the battery. For example,

If you have a 1200W appliance at 120V, the current it draws is 1200W/120V = 10A AC But for an inverter to provide that much power, it has to draw the same amount of power from the battery. Learn MoreYour multi has a max charge rate of 80a, within battery specs. Your max realistic discharge rate for your battery bank is well over the the batteries realistic rate of 92a. Your inverter can actually handle peak ac loads near 4000w. This is approaching 350a @ 12v battery. Choose a couple of 12v lithium batteries.
There is no generic answer to this. You read the battery datasheet. Either it will tell you the max discharge current, or it will tell you the capacity at a particular discharge rate, probably in the form C/20 where C means the capacity. You know the current you need : 4.61A.
Typically in a larger scale PV system (such as that for a remote house), the battery bank is inherently sized such that the daily depth of discharge is not an additional constraint. However, in smaller systems that have a relatively few days storage, the daily depth of discharge may need to be calculated.
The Depth of Discharge (DOD) of a battery determines the fraction of power that can be withdrawn from the battery. For example, if the DOD of a battery is given by the manufacturer as 25%, then only 25% of the battery capacity can be used by the load.
So just want to make sure if that is ok to leave it on 100Amps or if it would effect the battery long term health wise. If you stick to 100A from the inverter divided across two batteries, that's spot-on with the manufacturer's recommendation. The nominal charge/discharge current on each battery is 50A.
In this case, the discharge rate is given by the battery capacity (in Ah) divided by the number of hours it takes to charge/discharge the battery. For example, a battery capacity of 500 Ah that is theoretically discharged to its cut-off voltage in 20 hours will have a discharge rate of 500 Ah/20 h = 25 A.
