Verify the that the EBC breaker is in the "Off" position. Connect the supplied EBC cables to the rear of the cabinet, then to the rear of the UPS, see Figure 2.2 on the next page. Turn the EBC breaker to the "On" position. Verify the circuit breaker on the EBC is in the "On" position. The additional back-up run time is enabled.
If an optional POD with attached input cord and output receptacles are used, connect the input to a L14-30 receptacle and connect the user supplied equipment to the output receptacles. The Liebert® GXT3TM 5000-6000 VA models ship without the internal battery installed.
Conduit entry knockout are provided if the hardwired PODs are being used. Input and output wiring should be installed in separate conduits. All wiring should be done in accordance to all local and national electrical codes. Before wiring the UPS ensure that the breaker in the external upstream panelboard is OFF.
