About
Evelyn Beneke is a licensed Research and Clinical Psychologist who is based in Cape Town, Western Cape. She holds three masters’ degrees in psychology from the University of Cape Town, The Fielding Graduate University in California (clinical psychology) and, most recently, North Central University, where she specialised in substance abuse.
Evelyn Beneke believes that people don’t reach their full potential because they don’t have suitable coping strategies in place. She is, therefore, passionate about helping her patients manage their coping mechanisms to overcome challenges with mental health issues.
As a member of the Psychological Society of South Africa, a Professional Member of The National Association for Alcoholism and Abuse Counselors in the USA (NAADAC) and a Diplomate in Schema Therapy, with over 20 years of Clinical Psychology experience working in both hospitals and clinics in South Africa and the United States, Evelyn Beneke helps her patients discover themselves and their best coping strategies.
